2024 Canadian Transplant Games Coming to Ottawa

Are you ready to compete, connect and celebrate with the Canadian transplant community? The 10th Canadian Transplants games will be held in Ottawa August 3-9, 2024.

Prepare to be awestruck, moved to tears, and overjoyed with delight as you watch hundreds of transplant recipients of all ages compete to the best of their ability in a range of sports and events. Held every two years – unless a pandemic gets in the way – the Canadian Transplant Games are the premiere athletic celebration of health and sport for transplant recipients from across the country and will take place at Ottawa at Carleton University and other sporting venues around the city.

The Canadian Transplant Association’s vision is to improve the health outcomes of transplant recipients by promoting the message of post-transplant healthy living.

A registered charity, the CTA was launched by a group of individuals passionate about showcasing the benefits of organ donation. Almost 35 years later, they have volunteers across the country raising awareness and creating community for transplant recipients, donor families, living donors, and their families.
